Liebe Studierende, Dear students,

welcome to the course Internet Techniques.
First of all, since this course is part of the international study
programme "Information and Communication Engineering" the course will
be completely held in English.

We have a newsgroup which should be used for questions and discussions:

We, the tutors, will do all official postings in English only.

The course consists of eight lessons. Official start of the first
lesson is 23.04.2001. The other lessons will be released in a weekly
rhythm.

For each lesson there will be an assignment. To pass the course, 75% of
the maximum number of points must be achieved. 
This means you have to achieve 140 out of 200 points. 

The release dates for the lessons and the deadlines for assignments are

Please, carefully read the notes concerning the assignments.

The assignments may be written in German.
